Yes, he does move better than people give him credit. Hughie is not a good reflections. My concern has more to do with Joe keeping his hands down when he punches, especially when he throws body shots. AJ loves to counter. My other main concern is that Joe will throw a combo, sometimes connecting, but then stays in the pocket and, to quote Tua, "admire my work." Both are bad traits against AJ. If I had a third worry, and this is a big one, I worry that AJ will simply go at him and dominate the smaller man.

Movement, angles and speed will defeat AJ...

I agree Die, I hope he doesn't get swarmed and a doggy ref stoppage. I don't think AJ has the power to stop him early though. It's a real interesting fight because it's actually a harder fight than the kilt fight for AJ. People have to remember Wlad had a horrible chin lol but was a master of pawing, clinching and foot work to not be hit. Plus Wlad had some big weapons to keep people away lol! What I think tho is that AJ thinks this won't be as hard as Wlad, what do you guys reckon? I think it will be!

On the plus side, AJ got hit with an amateur move from Klit. Klit threw a left jaw, obstructing AJ's vision, and then knocked him down with that right hand. He tried it after that with some success, but nothing like the knockdown. AJ is definitely vulnerable to getting hit, which is why he's been down so many times. If Joe can correct his own vulnerabilities and capitalize on AJ's, he's in with a chance. Joe also needs to stun him early and often, to keep AJ from coming forward.

Anthony Joshua v Joseph Parker: New Zealand star trashes sleepy AJ and his trainers
JOSEPH PARKER believes he can tire out Anthony Joshua as the British superstar isn’t training the right way.

Joseph Parker believes he can tire out Anthony Joshua in their huge bout
Parker and Joshua are set to go head-to-head in a huge heavyweight unification bout in Cardiff on March 31.

WBA and IBO champion Joshua, who knocked out Carlos Takam in October, has posted a string of training videos showing himself in stunning physical condition ahead of the fight.

But WBO champ Parker claims Joshua can’t maintain his best form over 12 rounds as he is doing something wrong in his preparations.

And the New Zealander is confident he’ll claim victory in Wales next month as he will be able to stay on top over the distance.

The 26-year-old, who beat Hughie Fury by majority decision last September, told Sky Sports: "My body type, even though it's not really muscular, [has] worked for us.

“I'm not sure why he tires, that's something he has to sort of figure out”

Joseph Parker on Anthony Joshua
"We know that we can fight hard from round one to round 12. It's all that matters.

"When you watch him, when you see all the training, it's like they are doing all this new training and it looks really hard, and it looks intense, and it looks the type of training that will prepare you for 12 rounds.

"But, in saying that, just maybe their team need to work on a few things. We know that our team has a good structure and a good training programme that will allow us to fight 12 rounds, if we need it.

"But I'm not sure why he tires, that's something he has to sort of figure out.”

Parker’s trainer Kevin Barry has warned Joshua that he can expect a late onslaught from the Kiwi.

Barry said: “I see videos posted everywhere of him doing the most sophisticated, new age training methods that man has ever seen and, yet he's looked very tired in his last couple of fights.

"Every time he's been asked to go on to the later rounds, he's really struggled so that's a question for his training staff.

"He wouldn't want to be slowing against Joe, because I can promise you this, Joe will be coming on in the later rounds."

I think Parker needs to open his eyes and mind and see that the new age training is also effective lol. Trying new things are also effective, staying fresh and new is also effective. Parkers comment sounded a little close minded and opinionated. What I've learnt from sport is nothing is wrong but a learning experience. You can always be learning and open! To much Barry syndrome in him lol (Kevin Barry Knows best)

Nah, it's only about trying to rattle a strength AJ has: top notch training methods and body. Yesterday it was the glass jaw. Today the stamina. BTW, he stopped Takam late.
