Tszyu: I have American sparring partners

By Ray Wheatley – World of Boxing

WBO #1,WBC #1 super welterweight Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs) says he’s in the best shape of his career as he prepares for his March 12 (March 11 in USA) clash against Tony Harrison (29-3-1, 21 KOs) for WBO interim title at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia televised on Foxtel Main Event and Kayo Sports PPV and Showtime in USA. Tszyu has been helped by American sparring partners who include IBF #3, WBC #4, WBO #5 super welterweight Charles Conwell, middleweight D’Mitrius Ballard, and super-middleweights Justin and Jason Bell.

“I’ve got boys from America here. I flew them over,” Tszyu told foxsports.com.au. “Two boys. That type of style, African-American, slick type of style. I got to mix it up with sparring partners that have got a similar style to Harrison. I understand how to fight these guys, these quick American top fighters.”

Tszyu to take another bout before Charlo

By Ray Wheatley – World of Boxing

WBO interim super welterweight champion Tim Tszyu has decided to have a bout in June with another top contender before challenging undisputed 154 pound champion Jermell Charlo in August or September. “The bloke hasn’t fought for 12 months. Tszyu told Fox Sports.”How long can you keep postponing a fight? All I can do is focus on myself. I think he understands this isn’t an easy fight for him and so he wants to be 120 percent ready.

“I think before he was taking me lightly, saying he was going to beat me with one hand. That he was ready to fight with one hand. Now he knows though. So he’s taking his time. He will try and postpone it for as long as he can.”

Awful, awful performance from a defending lineal champion.

Taylor looks absoloutley finished, take nothing away from Teo who boxed superbly, but as a lineal champion you can't show up and perform like that. Taylor looked so flat I couldn't belive what I was seeing.

Yip Taylor looked like he lost interest after round 2. No fight
Teo was good though

Apparently Taylor has arranged a meet for fans who travelled to see him and paid for drinks and catering, nice move.
