Too many belts - justafan - 07-06-2016 This should happen more often. With four major associations it is criminal any one can carry as many as three belts. If the best aren't fighting the best with one champion in each division MMA will continue to thrive and boxing will be knocked with the its all hype and bulls**t business http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/16804655/wba-orders-junior-welterweights-jezreel-corrales-jason-sosa-fight-attempt-pare-belts RE: Too many belts - Nigs - 07-06-2016 one belt per weight division. one champion and everyone trying to be that guy that holds the belt. none of this catch weight bs. In MMA the best are at times even less likely to fight the best because different orgs don't co-promote unless you believe the UFC propaganda. MMA has good fighters outside of the UFC, still the sport is very weak in talent compared to boxing. UFC is gold at promoting itself, it is pretty much like WWF/WWE promoted as being real fighting. MMA as a product is pretty weak because they have too much wrestling/humping, I reckon its more likely to crash then boxing is tbh. I don't like catch weights but if you need them to make super fights its all good by me RE: Too many belts - Nigs - 07-07-2016 (07-06-2016, 01:45 PM)james5000 Wrote:(07-06-2016, 01:35 PM)Nigs Wrote: one belt per weight division. one champion and everyone trying to be that guy that holds the belt. not for belts |
