I know you will, markk, but negotiate HARD. Parker has enough money. I would accept less money if I could get some of the PPV $$$. I think it'll be a big event, and as Mr Higgins says, it'll probably be the first big fight of the year. Plus, Parker has nowhere else to go. Yes, he might eventually fight Whyte for big money, but there's a lot of if's in that, and no time soon. Yes, Fa will make a lot of money by fighting Parker, but Joe makes more money than he'll make elsewhere in 2020.

Good luck in the negotiations!
Yeah, I'd price myself out too if I were Fa's team. No offence to markk as we all appreciate his posts on here and is a great guy, but Fa is nowhere near Parker's class. He gets steamrolled IMO and is nowhere near ready to step up to Parker.

I want Fa to do great things as I love seeing our fighters doing well, but at this stage he hasn't impressed as a pro and I can't see it changing in the near future, but would love to be proven wrong but at the same time, I'm just being honest.

Good luck however to Fa and his team.
Don't know what Fa's next step is, though, if not Parker.  The guys in front of him in the WBO would all beat him, IMHO.  I'm thinking he either has to fight someone from another alphabet in the top 10, and there are a number of opponents where he matches well, or target Helenius, who I think he can beat.  Charles Martin, Rivas, or my  favourite, Trevor Bryan, comes to mind.  All are top 5.  Helenius needs to fight a couple of more fights before he fights for a title, and he's not going to fight someone too good.  Fa is an ideal opponent, and I think Jr can create the upset.  Parker picked and chose his opponents carefully before he became champ, and Fa needs to do the same.

I think Fa's management team are doing it correctly tbh. Stay undefeated and wait for big paydays. Yeah he can beat Helenius, Helenius really does fight to his level but Helenius  will also be hot property around the world with recent success. Martin and Rivas both beat Fa at this stage too.
I hear ya', AF, but who would you have Fa fight then? I'm not sure he can beat the guys I mentioned above either. I give it 50-50 at best. But surely he needs to fight someone in the top 10 now. Yes, markk and management have done a fantastic job getting him this far--a top ten ranking and undefeated.

He's had so many health problems, and weight problems, that we haven't seen the best of Fa yet. I'm hoping we will, especially if a big fight happens. I see him fighting a little like George Foreman. Powerful, with a strong jab, and just mows guys down. But I need to see a lot more power from him.
Fight a Dave Allen or Price if still fighting
Allen wants to continue signed with MTK

Those are B level fighters, and Price might get lucky and KO him. Schwartz would be good, but he doesn't leave Germany. Don't you want him to fight a top ten guy? He keeps messing around with these B level fighters, he's going to eventually lose. I'd rather he fight a top guy in the top 10, and make it an exciting fight win, lose, or draw.
I can't see any he could be confident to beat
Beating these guys would keep him in mix for a bigger fight
If you wanted to throw him in with a Top 10
Andy Ruiz
Luis Ortiz
Micheal Hunter
Filip Hrgovic
Oscar Rivas
All these would be extremely tough from what I have seen of Fa so Fa..
Fight a few more just below unless a title fight is on the cards
I see Ruiz and Ortiz as just too skillful for Fa, and a bad match-up. Hunter is talented, but would be a better option. If I remember correctly, Hrgovic is a brute, and that fight could be exciting for Fa. Rivas the same in terms of an exciting fight. I'd go with Rivas out of that lot, if only because of his ranking.

To tell you the truth I'd keep padding Fa's record with lower tier opponents (maybe durable guys like Razvan Cojanu, Kevin Johnson etc.) and just wait for that big payday to come if I were part of Fa's team. Who knows, if he keeps winning he may even land a mandatory spot with the WBO which will make him hot property around the world.
