Is Stiverne - Brezeale happening? That would be a good fight.
If that's the case and Junior has a good win he needs to call out the winner.
Not saying it needs to be his very next fight but may as well start building it now

I need to see Fa boxing better, and sticking with his weight loss, before I would fight someone really good, like Stiverne or Breazeale. Just not convinced he's got the goods-yet. He needs to dominate and anniliate inferior opponents, and then gradually step up.

On another matter, it's been 6 months since Izu fought Breazeale. Anyone know about his next fight. Boxrec says nothing is scheduled...
Agree with most of that Die but it would be at least a year away before anything happened anyway so why not make some noise now if he has a good win.
In regards to Izu I watched the replay of that fight the other day and even though neither fought smart it was a lot of fun while it lasted. Would love to see it again!
Because Fa needs to fight "under the radar" until he's ready. He's with Haymon, so there can be plenty of "chatter" when he's ready. I just don't want him to run his mouth, and then head for a big fall by someone challenging him back and putting him in a precarious position. But I agree, he a year away, at least. Nothing wrong with that, he just needs to keep impressing.

Yeah, I miss Izu too. If he hadn't gassed, he could have won that fight. I don't blame him for going for the KO, he just got caught in the process and didn't recover. Happens.

Junior will prob have a hit out in states in a month against a 10-10 type of guy then a month later fight on wilder card on 4th.  should have plans this week. which mean wilder fight will be announced.  then on wilder card we will fight a 15-5 guy id say. next fight up will be first test headline shobox against a young up and coming heavy. Tommy morrisons son type of fighter. he is only pro for 18 months remember so lots to  learn and develop on. also not his style to call fighters out. a good win on shobox which is national tv in states will push him into the next level

So I'm assuming Wilder and Ortiz will definitely be fighting then? Thanks for the updates and hope it goes well for Junior.

I'm hearing out of wider team that an opponent should be sorted this week.  obviously Ortiz is a haymon fighter so sound like is preferred. complex with WBA possibly striping AJ if he doent fight Ortiz. maybe Ortiz vs wilder is WBC and WBA.  will be interesting. we will prob spend a week in camp with Wilder as well. if fighting Ortiz it will be just to train not spa as he's a lefty

Hopefully it's Ortiz, don't really fancy a Stiverne rematch.
