People like to mention Chisoras loses but if you run through them Fury x2 -yes he was outclassed in fight 2
Haye - Hayes prime and was very competitive until KO
Whyte- I thought Chisora won 1st
2nd fight he was doing well until deducted 2 points and lost his focus
Vitaly Klit 12 rounds
Parker x 2
Usyk 12 rounds
Pulev 12 rounds

I didn't see the other couple but shit that shows a guy willing to fight, not many current HW would have that sort of resume or be willing to fight that high quality.
Compare that to Luis Ortiz - Hygovic - Hunter etc
Del is a tough night still for anyone bar the top 3-4
Excellent point, bart.  But he did lose all of those fights.  What do you think of Parker facing Joyce or Hrgovic?  A step up from Chisora?  I feel Parker facing these guys is the great unknown, both with Parker's improved skills and Joyce/Hrgovic lack of quality opponents.  For an elimination against Hrgovic, isn't that what Parker's been waiting for?
Love him to fight these guys Die but for max reward- ie Title or eliminator..
Otherwise keep working on his new found vigor at a level just under
Parker's in a decent enough position now where he can wait for an opportunity and avoid the likes of Hrgovic and Joyce. Wouldn't mind seeing those fights, but I could understand why Parker's team would want to avoid those fights at the same time.
Over coming years we may find that both Joyce and Hrgovic are more hype than reality.

I don't mind Parker taking those fights. But he needs an opponent that brings $$$$$$$'s
Yes I think JP is in a position where he is highly ranked and must now wait his turn if he wants a title shot.
So he can either chase the instant $ or take 1-2 fights to implement/perfect his new style under lee.
I favour the latter - so when an opportunity comes he can give himself the best chance to grap it.
An old quote from Graham Lowe I always liked ' Training hard doesn't give you the right to win - it gives you the opportunity to win'
Just thought I would throw that in, it has always stuck with me
Do you think JP trains hard, bart? I do, but I think he doesn't discipline himself with his food. In the past, he talked about how he used to cheat with candy bars and other fatty foods. I think it affects his stamina.

Hopefully, the IBF or WBO can use the fights with Hrgovic or Joyce as eliminators. He may still have to wait awhile though. If AJ beats Usyk, there may be a clause in there for a trilogy. Look at how Whyte has had to wait as a mandatory. When he finally got his chance, he was lowballed.
Hanging around waiting for a title shot is usually a mistake.

Better to rack up good wins in the meantime - keep your name in lights and add to your skills
Kiwi, who do you think JP should fight next?
