Hopefully Chisora can get another good scaulp on his resume, Chisora isn't afraid to face anyone whenever.
it's too little too late for Parker to start changing too much now.
Babic defeats Spilmont, Richards tops Gongora

Exciting WBC #3 bridgerweight knockout artist Alen “The Savage” Babic made it ten knockouts from ten fights, but got exposed a bit before dispatching southpaw journeyman David Spilmont (11-8-1, 7 KOs) in round six. Babic, who took the fight on two weeks’ notice and was outweighed by 36 pounds, pressed the action and was willing to trade with Spilmont. Babic got staggered by Spilmont in round two, but came back to rock Spilmont in round three. Babic dropped Spilmont with a barrage of punches in round four and put him down for the count in round six. Time was :53. Babic took a lot of shots but willed his way to the win. After the fight, he stated he recently had covid.

In a clash between undefeated super middleweights, slickster Lerrone Richards (16-0, 3 KOs) outboxed and dethroned IBO world champion Carlos Gongora (20-1, 15 KOs) via split decision over twelve rounds. Scores were 115-113, 115-113 for Richards, 116-112 for Gongora.

In an IBF super featherweight contender IBF #3 Zelfa Barrett (26-1, 16 KOs) took a twelve round unanimous decision over #4 Bruno “The Terminator” Tarimo (26-2-2, 5 KOs). Barrett dropped Tarimo with a left hook in round three and went on to win 117-110, 117-110, 116-111.

Olympian cruiserweight David Nyika (2-0, 2 KOs) punished Anthony Carpin (5-7-2, 2 KOs) for three minutes and Carpin called it quits after the round.
I paid the $40 and watching it on SKY. Main event coming up next.
here we go ...come on JP
wow great scrap- Joe blew his load a few times but boxed well, Del is a animal
Best fight for Parker in a long time. Imagine if he'd had Andy Lee for the last 5 years. That uppercut was working all nite long! Parker was so tired going into the second half of the fight, but fortunately, so was Chisora. Parker got tagged, and I thought was going down several times. What a chin.

As msreef said, Parker has no inside game. The extra weight might have helped him there, but he got hit heaps in the clinches. Parker was able to hurt Chisora, was knocked down three times (only once really) but couldn't finish him. I think Parker was afraid of what might be coming back at him. And, Chisora did rally after being hurt. Great fight!
I didn't think Parker would be able to drop Chisora, but he did, and hurt him many multiple times. Its still really hard to make a conclusion about where he is at because Chisora is such a different guy. Really don't see guys do what Chisora does when hurt. Taking the defensive position in the corner and/or waiting to slug it out not caring one way or the other. Parker definitely came out worse off from those situations. Without those exchanges I think Parker could have had an easier time of the second half, but it is what it is. He clearly won. Good.

Parker really looked and sounded like he failed at the end. He really wanted to have an impressive showing. Against a traditional fighter at the same level as Chisora I think it would have been more apparent. The next step will be interesting.
Good analysis, Steven. I think Chisora is a gatekeeper for other fighters wanting to fight for the title. Parker went thru the gate. Like you say, Parker hurt Chisora. Not many fighters do that.

Hearn mentioned Hrgovic as a possible next opponent. Maybe mandatory. Sounds good, but Joyce sounds better. How about both of them? Maybe throw in Ruiz, cause there's a long wait for a title challenge.
