I just have a feeling we may see something special from Parker this fight.

He is just one good performance away from a real comeback

I just have a feeling this may be it. A clinical shut-out and KO would not surprise me.....
Hoping so Kiwi
He has def been stale with KB and idea-less in the ring , Andy Lee will be in his ear all fight so maybe a good thing on crowd

I think sim to Usyk fight but the heavier JP punches take there toll and a swollen eyed Delboy is pulled by his corner after round 10.
Chisora will have some success but never really troubling JP .
YOUR TURN

This seems about right.

First few rounds will tell, if Chisora has emptied the kitchen sink he won't make the end, if it gets to round 5 and neither has done anything or taken any damage we will be in for a long night.
Chisora will go for it in the early rounds. It'll be up to Parker to box him and stay away from Del's bombs. He does that, and it's an easy win. A replay of Chisora/Usyk fight.
World title bid could await Joseph Parker if he beats Derek Chisora, top promoter says
3:46PM • SOURCE: 1 NEWS

Respected boxing promoter Eddie Hearn believes Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker could earn another world title bid if he delivers a convincing result against Derek Chisora this weekend.

Parker takes on the 37-year-old Briton on Sunday morning after almost two years of verbal sparring between the pair.

Since losing the WBO heavyweight title to Anthony Joshua in 2018 and a follow-up defeat to Dillian Whyte soon after, Parker has been clawing his way back into title talks and has built a four-bout winning streak.

That streak – and any chance of contesting a world title – will be on the line in Manchester, England, Hearn said.

"This is really the fight that's going to tell us more about Joseph Parker. If you look at his positioning now, in the world rankings, if he wins this fight, he's bang in line for a world championship fight.

"Massive fight for both guys. It could be the final roll of the dice for Derek Chisora, and a defeat for Parker would be crippling for his world title ambitions."

Hearn also weighed in on Parker’s decision to split from long-time trainer Kevin Barry – a decision the 29-year-old opened up about in a column this week – ahead of his first bout under new coach Andy Lee.

"I like Kevin Barry and those guys... but sometimes you need something a little bit fresh," Hearn said.

The promoter, who looks after world champion Joshua, said he’s excited to see what the new pair produce.

"Joe looks great, almost too lean for me. But obviously Andy wants him built for speed in this fight. Andy's got a great boxing brain, I think he's a fantastic trainer, and sometimes you just need to freshen things up.

"I'm expecting a very good Joseph Parker."
Strategy for Chisora, come in 2kg lighter than vs Usyk and apply EDUCATED and PACED PRESSURE, don't steam in round 1 and try to ko Parker, it won't happen. Instead, pace yourself but stay the aggressor, get inside let a few go, clinch and repeat. Aim for 12 round points as that's your best chance

Strategy for Parker, move and execute ASSERTIVE COUNTERPUNCHING. pretty simple, Chisora is Predictable and one paced, he's a tank coming forward but it's a tank with one gear, Parker will have time to plant his feet and fire off HARD counters, if he does this the KO will come.
Question is David Higgins still involved with JP or has he left the team too as I haven't seen him this week.
Higgins still in NZ for the birth of his daughter

I believe
David Haye could be lacking confidence in Derek Chisora, says Joseph Parker's manager David Higgins
"Maybe he's lying low because they lack confidence, or maybe he's going to spring something on us," David Higgins questions whether opposing manager David Haye has serious doubts ahead of Chisora vs Parker

By Richard Damerell

David Haye could be "lacking confidence" in Derek Chisora after failing to display his usual "bravado", says Joseph Parker's manager David Higgins.

Chisora faces Parker on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Box Office, with Katie Taylor also defending her undisputed world lightweight titles against Natasha Jonas at The AO Arena in Manchester.

But Higgins believes Haye has been strangely subdued in recent days and questioned whether his opposing manager is concerned about Chisora's upcoming clash with Parker.
