Joshua says Klitschko will beat Fury

Heavyweight contender Anthony Joshua believes WBA, WBO, IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will defeat unbeaten Tyson Fury when they collide on Saturday night in Dusseldorf, Germany. “It will be a great fight and it’s brilliant for boxing both in Britain and on a world stage,” said Joshua. “Tyson and Wladimir are two very different personalities which makes it even more interesting for the neutral [fans]. The result is difficult to call, both have knockouts on their record and anything can happen in heavyweight boxing. The fight will be action packed right from round one. I think Fury will come out with nothing to lose, his style is to throw a lot of punches but ultimately I think Klitschko’s class will shine through and he will win.”

WBA/IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 54 KOs) and unbeaten challenger Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) weighed in for their clash Saturday night in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Klitschko weighed 245.8 lbs. (111.5 kilos), while Fury scaled in at 247 lbs. (112 kilos). An intense face-off followed lasting 72 seconds before they were separated. During their face-to-face, Klitsche at 6’6 1/2 looked at least as tall as Fury, who is billed as 6’9.

Fury made his entry first, followed by Wlad, who extended his hand to shake with Fury. Fury refused. Wlad attempted again after the face-off, and this time Fury accepted. Now comes the long-awaited ruled meeting where Fury will try on his custom-made Paffen gloves. The Fury camp is still making rumblings about walking if the gloves aren’t to his liking.

Only media were allowed into today’s weigh-in. The reason given is extra security. The fight takes place at the 54,600-seat Esprit Arena, which will have it’s retractable roof closed and the heat turned on for fans attending the event.
What time is the fight scheduled to kick off NZ. Time?
Thanks Nigs. I thought no one cared anymore. Wasn't feeling any love today. Ok, just because you were so kind to post, I'll tell you. It's on Sky Sport 2 from 8AM to Noon. My guess is that the fight with Klit and Fury will be some time after 10AM NZ time. Hughie Fury is on the card, and finally found an opponent. Not very good, however.
