I like Conlan but he has been a bit of a prat in the build up- started to annoy me

great watch
What a great fight. Conlan was winning the fight easily until the 11th when he got knocked down, and in the 12th he got knocked out of the ring in a great comeback by Wood. There was a big concern for Conlan's welfare as he did a back flip, head first, into the ring apron. However, he's in the hospital in stable condition.

rematch would be a seller

Bart, did you see the fight? Most of the undercard fights were pretty good. Conlan kept hitting him flush, but it seemed like his punches lost some of their power in the later rounds. Probably tired. Gotta hand it to Wood, he dug deep.

Stuff like this is seriously making me consider cancelling DAZN. no reason this shouldn't have been on it.

Yeah, it's not right. In January, half of the next 8 fights on DAZN were blacked out in NZ and OZ. Why? But for $3 month, I can't let it go.
Conlan: Definitely want a rematch
After being taken from the ring area on a stretcher after a brutal KO loss, there was serious concern about Michael Conlan’s health. However, after a clean brain scan and some stitches at the hospital, Conlan was back tweeting on social media a few hours later. About 45 minutes after Conlan’s tweet, his foe, WBA featherweight champion Leigh Wood, offered some encouragement but didn’t comment regarding a rematch. Conlan again brought up a rematch a few hours later. |
