So the next Super 8 will take place on November 3 in Auckland. Any ideas of a line-up/weight division for the tournament?
I'm hoping for a light heavy:
Robert Berridge (26-3-1)
Reece Papuni (9-1)
Sam Rapira (11-2)
Nik Charalampous (not sure if he's still injured) (9-0)
Tipene Maniapoto (wildcard) (1-0)
Rob Powdrill (6-1)
Damien Hooper (10-1)
Kerry Foley (16-2-1)

Awesome line-up, but McRae likes the cruisers, and Langton vs Betham are the main attraction at cruiser on the card. But no reason he can't switch it up a bit. Like the Light Heavys.

Papuni focussed on super middle and I think Berridge will be the same. Neither can afford a loss at the moment so can't see them in s super 8 anytime soon. No the Greek is unlikely to go into a super 8 after long break too but the rest sounds awesome. I'm picking they will co main Berridge and Hemi and have a heavy super 8

That article also says Hemi is fighting for NZ Title at Super 8, meaning he'll be fighting another Kiwi. I can't think of many left that would be credible for him to fight?
Maybe Junior Pati? Tafa Misipati? Thomas Peato? Bubba Tuigamala?
Anyone else still active? Obviously there's Afa but he's retired?

I think it could be Brice Ritani-Coe, worked with them before on super 8 and would take Hemi some rounds

Good shout. Would be a good statement if he KO'd him considering JP couldn't. I doubt he would though, Brice is a highly underrated fighter

I think you might be right there about it being Brice I saw a photo of him not long ago on Facebook and he looked in great shape.

VADR, I had sent you an email yesterday about attending the Super 8. Opunake/Taranaki is planning on sending a busload of James Langton supporters to SkyCity to watch the fight. How much are tickets???
