While I don't agree with what Duco have come out and said re: Browne, the Twitter message directly from JP shows mutual respect towards Browne.
They fighters both know that hype = more tickets and PPV = cash, so they'll be having a laugh about it while the promoters are doing their job hyping up possible fights.
This is no different than any american or british promoter seeing an opportunity to create a situation, the only thing here is that the Kiwi public haven't been subjected to this sort of marketing campaigning before. You just don't see Steve Hansen coming out saying that the All Blacks are determined to smash the opposition into pulp, or the coach of the Breakers firing off tough talk.
It's a fine line to tread, and in the most part Duco has done a decent job, whilst learning on the job. I would personally hold off the tough talk until Parker gets rid of Takam, otherwise a loss their could derail their hype plans.
