Love this fight!

Wow what a banger, I think Takam just edges it with his movement.

I favour Takam in this but it will be interesting to see which Chisora turns up. If the one that fought Agit Kabayel turns up then Takam wins this easily IMO.

Carlos Takam gets must-win fight on Joseph Parker's London undercard

Carlos Takam's pressure game brought plenty of problems for Joseph Parker who eventually won a tight fight in south Auckland to set up his career.

Carlos Takam has been added to an increasingly classy undercard for Joshua's Parker's return to action in London in July.

Parker takes on dangerous British contender Dillian Whyte in the headline act at the O2 Arena on July 29.

Promoter Eddie Hearn is building a night of action with Takam, who fought both Parker and current heavyweight king Anthony Joshua, taking on Britain's enigmatic Dereck Chisora.

Carlos Takam put on a brave performance against Anthony Joshua before the referee stopped the fight in the 10th round.

Both fighters find their careers on a knife-edge going into the clash.

Former world title challenger Chisora needs a big win to fire his name into the mix for major title fights having been edged out by Agit Kabayel for the European title in Monaco in November following a narrow defeat to Whyte in a fight of the year contender in Manchester in December 2017.

Takam is back in the UK following his spirited challenge against Anthony Joshua for the IBF, WBA and IBO World titles at Principality Stadium in Cardiff last October.

The Frenchman came in at 10 days' notice to replace Kubrat Pulev and fought gamely before getting stopped in the 10th. That performance followed hot on the heels of giving Parker a real test in south Auckland in May 2016. Parker won that IBF eliminator to announce himself as a real presence in the top mix of fighters.

With Chisora ranked at No 10 in the WBC and Takam in at No 6 six with the IBF, the winner will stay in the mix of a lively division but the loser will be seen as a spent force.

"I'm delighted to get another big heavyweight clash over the line for July 28 - this is a great fight," Hearn said in announcing the latest addition to the card.

"For Del Boy, it's a real last chance saloon at world level and for Takam it's a chance to push for another world title shot after a strong showing against AJ."

In other big undercard fights, Kell Brook clashes with Brandon Cook in a world super-lightweight title eliminator, Katie Taylor defends her WBA and IBF world lightweight titles against Kimberly Connor, and Conor Benn and Cedric Peynaud are set for a rematch after their fight of the year brawl in 2017.

I also fancy takam as delboy is hit and miss . Chisora Whyte was a close quarters barn burner and i expect the same . I thought del took that one but think takam will edge him but could be narrow. What a fantastic card i hope they all get throug camp and no pull outs. Def now a ppv card

Was shocked when I heard this. Must have been a distraction as they are very close
