To a certain level yes. Height and reach will be an issue later on though

Have you seen who they've got lined up for him? Ex Aussie champ Colin Wilson, nearly 47 years old and hasn't won in 9and a half years.

Ah yes, I wasn’t posting about Colin Wilson for shits and giggles craigy

Nik the Greek to fight James Langton in May. https://www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/news/111134979/taranakis-sam-rapira-to-remain-outside-the-ring-at-fight-night?fbclid=IwAR0TEoNsfDE7Qefj2KTpN_fIzuDkVuiaJaL4MlZYFJ2gSfI3QCQtUoNDQ3Q

Haven't seen James in awhile.  Will be great to catch up.  I'm in New Plymouth now.  I'll see if I can help out with the fight in some way.  AND, no way, from the article, that Nik is technical.  He's a brawler like James is.  Should be exciting, and the TSB is just around the corner.

Nik the Greek has some lovely skills, he's just doesn't seem to train hard enough. He befriended me on Facebook the other day, I don't know why - I don't know him. Maybe he wants to get into running.

You've met him a few times haven't you? Yeah, he should be fighting at super middle/light heavy if he was serious about making a career out of the sport not cruiserweight.

Yeah we used to chat at the ABA on fight nights, this fights at heavy though - Crazy. You're right he should be at least fighting at light heavy, if he trained hard he could do some damage at super middle.

Chris Martin, his former (and current?) trainer got him off the streets and taught him how to fight.  Yeah, training is an issue with him.  I think he's only lost twice, so he should be further along than he is.  I just think that he's not very disciplined.  For instance, he didn't fight anyone last year in 2018.

Training not the issue. Guy trains hard just has few thing going on in the background where weight control is difficult. Not something to be posted in a public forum. He is no brawler. He’s an incredible skilled fighter. Struggling with some injuries so mobility is a problem at times.
