Oleksandr Usyk stops Tony Bellew. Think it was in the eighth. Heavy knock down, Bellew slowly gets to his feet but can't beat the count. Looked like Dave Caldwell was going to throw the towel if he did anyway.

Bellew looked to alright in the early rounds from what I saw on a dodgy as stream that kept cutting out. But he was showboating a lot and Usyk appeared to start very slow but looked much like what we expected of him once he got going. Really not sure he's p4p top 5 like some have been pushing though

Usyk KOs Bellew in 8, remains undisputed

Undisputed WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (16-0, 12 KOs) spectacularly knocked out former champ Tony Bellew (30-3-1, 20 KOs) on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. Surprisingly tactical bout for the first six rounds. Usyk ratcheted up the pressure in the seventh round, then brutally knocked out Bellew with a crushing left hand in round eight. Time was 2:00. Bellew was ahead on two of the three scorecards entering the last round.

WBA champ Lebedev defeats Wilson

In a non-title fight, current WBA cruiserweight champion in recess Denis Lebedev (32-2, 23 KOs) scored a workmanlike twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Oregonian Mike Wilson (19-1, 8 KOs) on Saturday at the elegant Casino de Monte Carlo in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The 39-year-old Lebedev looked to be on his way to stopping Wilson after a big round four, but Wilson hung tough and the fight went the full distance. Scores were 117-111, 119-109, 119-109.

Bivol outpoints Pascal to retain WBA title

WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (15-0, 11 KOs) scored a twelve round unanimous decision over former champ Jean Pascal (33-6-1, 20 KOs) on Saturday night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

Bivol methodically punished Pascal from the get-go. Pascal kept it interesting with his wild aggression, but Bivol cruised to a 117-111, 119-109, 119-109 win.

Adonis "Superman" Stevenson defends his WBC World Light Heavyweight title v Oleksandr "The Nail" Gvozdyk tomorrow Sunday 2 December from 1PM on Sky Sports Pop Up 3 (channel 57). I am expecting this to be a way better fight that Wilder-Fury later in the afternoon and am picking Gvozdyk to dethrone Stevenson by way of knock out.
