Parker is behind those two in the IBF pecking order but Lonergan could easily see a situation where Joshua avoids the experienced Frenchman for safer and more lucrative opponents.
"That could potentially put the Kiwi in a position to fight to be the number one contender", Lonergan said.
I wouldn't be too surprised either way though as I think Hearn and AJ don't appear to be chasing the belts at this stage.
