Briggs: I’ll fight Wilder for free. Winner takes all!
Former two-time heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs (59-6-1, 52 KOs) and WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) have been going at it lately on various social media networks. Wilder is scheduled to fight TBA on January 16th in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center. This is Briggs’ hometown so it seems like it would make sense. Wilder says he wants the fight but has concerns on whether Briggs’ purse demands may become an issue for stopping the fight from being made. Briggs made it very clear to Fightnews.com® that it’s not. “I will make this quite easy for you Deontay. I will fight you for free. Let’s do a winner take all. If you’re so sure you can beat me there should be no issue. You beat me and I don’t get paid at all. This shows you I am not all talk. How about you Deontay?” said Briggs.
