Chisora wins snoozer against Nascimento
Former heavyweight title challenger Dereck Chisora (22-5, 14 KOs) scored a one-sided ten round decision but failed to impress against journeyman Marcleo Nascimento (18-11, 16 KOs) on Saturday night at Wembley Arena in London, England. Chisora initiated what little action there was as Nascimento (now a loser of 9 of his last 11) went into survival mode early on. The ref scored it 99-91.
Adamek stops Saleta in five
In a fight to see if he still has it, former heavyweight title challenger Tomasz Adamek (50-4, 30 KOs) got his fiftieth win when 47-year-old former Euro champ Przemyslaw Saleta (44-8, 22 KOs) quit on his stool after round five on Saturday night at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland. Adamek, a former world champion at light heavyweight and cruiserweight, moved well in the ring and outboxed the stalking Saleta.
On the undercard, heavyweight Nagy Aguilera (20-9, 14 KOs) scored an upset tenth round TKO over Marcin Rekowski (16-2, 13 KOs).
