I like Lucas Browne as a person and I like watching him fight but as I've said before I'm just not feeling it as a top ranked prize fighter.
Not sure about calling Wilder out on his padded record either, yes Brown could argue he's stepping up quicker but his last fight was Chauncy Welliver and four fights ago he fought Clarence Tillman.
He also talks about his chin but Travis Walker dropped him in round 1 of their fight. His biggest name is Andriy Rudenko who he outpointed 115-113, 116-112 and 117-112.
Then Rudenko was beaten in his very next fight by Hughie Fury 92-98, 91-98 and 92-97.
Good luck to him if he gets his mandatory or the Wilder fight but IMO he would need to get very lucky to win either.

Lucas Browne calls out Wilder

That video is hilarious. Interesting that Tupou is sparring with browne (and also Leapai?) For Parker. Not really similar fighters

Who could Bowie get to spar with who would be similar to JP?

Like to see Browne get a shot, but Wilder is an Al Haymon fighter, as are Arreola, Szpilka and Tarver, so highly likely to be one of them, then Povetkin.
Browne will probably have to keep waiting (and waiting) for he WBA mess he's in to sort itself out. Hatton doesn't want to risk Browne's mandatory so he might end up inactive for well over a year before it happens

I'd have Tupou sparring with a cruiser in Australia, as he's gonna have to get used to Parker's speed and combos.

Browne's doing the right thing in provoking Wilder. See if it works...

Well said Die, cruiser needs beParkerrs height or or taller and be able to punch, that mixed with a heavy with fast heavy hands. But definitely a cruiser or a top amateur light/heavy..

Wilder said it apparently, so still not ready to believe it.

That Scott Gilfoid comes across like a total bell-end;
"You have to remember that Wilder was fighting in front of his fans in Alabama his home state, so it stands to reason that he might want to let the fight last as long as possible before getting Molina out of there."

Joshua pulls out of July 18 fight

Unbeaten 2012 Olympic super heavyweight gold medalist Heavyweight Anthony Joshua (13-0, 13 KOs) has pulled out of a July 18 fight at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. No opponent had been named for the fight. Joshua will now focus on a “major title bout” on September 12 at The O2 in London. He is rumored to be facing Mariusz Wach.

Replacing Joshua on July 18 is former middleweight contender Martin Murray in his second fight in the super middleweight division. The card also features a pair of world title fights as Scott Quigg defends his WBA “regular” super bantamweight title against former IBF champion Kiko Martinez and WBA “regular” lightweight champion Darleys Perez defends against Anthony Crolla.
