Didn't AJ have some trouble in the amateurs? Whyte? Knocked down? Body shots?

He could be China's version of our very own Rohit Singh. Can't see Taishan Dong going very far either. The guy is an absolute snail despite having the height and phisique to succeed. I hope to see Zhilei Zhang succeed but time could be running out for him. Needs to really push along in the next year or 2 to get in contention for a belt in whatever organisation.

That's some time I won't get back...
Ortiz vs Scott was a STINKER Scott lost 120-105,120-106,119-106 and ran for 12 rounds Ortiz was frustrated but couldn't get him out of there. When Bowie Tupou was up to fight JP, I watched the Tupou-Scott fight. Dire Don't ever watch a fight with Malik Scott in it.

Ortiz not impressive in snoozefest against Scott
Unbeaten former WBA interim heavyweight champion Luis Ortiz (26-0, 22 KOs) scored a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over Malik Scott 38-3-1, 13 KOs) on Saturday night at the Salle des Étoiles in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Ortiz stalked Scott, who was in survival mode from the opening bell, for the entire fight, but never could put him away. Ortiz dropped Scott in round four and again early in round five. Scott was down again in round nine but managed to go the full twelve. Scores were 120-105, 120-106, 119-106. |
