So even Lonergan thinks Izu couldn't beat AJ but he would put him in anyway....

"If they come back to us and said ‘Izu is up now and then we’ll take Joe’ we’d be more than happy with that and we’ll negotiate a deal.”

It's a title shot, isn't it what everyone wants? I'm sure Izu would jump at the chance to take on Joshua

What does Lonergan know? I think Izu has as good or better chance than Parker against AJ.

Agree, if you are Izu why would you not take the fight? Joshua is untested, Izu has a chance of beating him. Plus the pay day would be decent, and it will raise his profile a hell of a lot.

I'm not saying he shouldn't take it but I'd be pissed if my promoter was saying that about me! well not that I've ever had one but you know what I mean...

You misinterpreted what Lonergan said. He did not imply that Izu would lose (and therefore the Parker fight would be next).
He said "if they come back to us and said......". Of course the Joshua team would be expecting Joshua to win. He was saying things from their perspective, not his/Duco's.
