This bout was fought between our own Jimmy Thunder and England's Johnny Nelson. Thunder was the holder at the time previously beating Melton Bowen in Australia. You could easily argue that it may not have been a genuine world title fight HOWEVER the holders off this belt have included such names as Pinklon Thomas; Joe Bugner; Evander Holyfield; the most fabulous South African boxer Frans Boxer. Ironically the last holder was one Carlos Takam in 2013.

Was that Prime Frans Botha or just ordinary Frans Botha. There's quite the difference you know...
