Joseph Parker

... and for the record, I don't rate Dillian Whyte at all, Parker will knock him out inside 3 rounds. Duco want this fight!!

How can you possibly have parker over povetkin

Povetkin doesn't fight very often, and other than Takam (who I think is a lot better now and against Parker than when they fought) he really hasn't fought anyone significant of the new generation of HW's.

Although went the distance against Klitschko, he looked very average for most of the fight.

He's 36 yrs old and is only getting slower. Although a clever fighter I think Parker would be too fast for him.

The Parker vs Meehan fight comes to mind!!

I don't know about that Dannyboy....but I like your enthusiasm!

I rate Parker about 8-10, until he shows he can do it again at Takam's level. A fight against the likes of Molina, Ruiz Jnr etc will cement his ranking for me. The top 5 can be debated all day, but until Tyson loses, he is #1 by rank.

I like Dannyboys enthusiasm too.

I think JP can beat Povetkin like he was Meehan too

.. potentially

..one day

He has the speed and natural boxing ability . But he needs to be handled right

I think Barry Duco and co need to slow down
Why the big rush to take the title fight
Take some time to consolidate , heal , learn and grow

Haumono fight so soon is a bad idea , that should be at least 3 months IMO

Fast tracking to England to fight Joshua for the title would likely backfire
too much too soon
But once Duco sees dollar signs I think thats what will happen

Bob Jones dribbles a lot, but I think hes right when he says they are taking him along too fast
Theres no need to rush

1) Fury
2) Klit
3) Ortiz
4) Wilder
5) Povetkin
6) AJ
7) Parker
8) Pulev
9)Haye
10) Izu

I'm basing this on who can beat whom, but give Fury the nod over Klit because he won the first time.  Izu is my wildcard cause I like him.

Why does everyone know more than me, what I say at home goes.....lol
I see better angles in Pulev which I think Jo would struggle with...pulev also koed Takam while in retrospect Jo didn't dent him. I somehow think Jo has a ways to go to be in a stable position to compete favorably with some of these guys. I think David Haye would play with him right now but it's great we all see different it makes for debate. ..

Sorry but I have to disagree entirely.

He knocked Takam spark out, and that was a younger Takam who to my eye looked much better than the one Parker fought, coming off his career best run against Perez and Thompson

Povetkin has a very solid layer of wins including Perez, Chambers, and a few others.

He did ok against Wlad, bought the fight to him but Klitschko is incredibly physically strong and used ideal tactics at close range, those are tactics Parker is not capable of using.

I simply can't compare any version of Meehan to any version of Povetkin, least of all the 45 year old one Parker fought.

I have Povetkin knocking Joe out in 8 rounds.

Not bashing you mate but it's a very unusual viewpoint you have there.
