Joseph Parker to fight International Boxing Federation elimination bout against Carlos Takam to find the #1 mandatory challenger for the IBF heavyweight title.
Charles Martin defends the title against Anthony Joshua on April 9 in London. The winner must make a mandatory defence against Parker or Takam by mid January 2017.
Parker and Takam's representatives have begun negotiations as to where and when their elimination bout will be staged.

I can't see Parker fighting before January, 2017 if he beats Takam. Why risk it? But that's a long time between fights...
