Joseph Parker
Believe Martz saw those weaknesses several fights ago with Parker keeping his left low after his jab. I figure if Tupou and Meehan can't capitalise on it, Martz won't. Truth be told, most fighters don't bring their jab back high after throwing it.

Barry's interview was great

KB really has his head on right. Very positive, but realistic, with where Parker is at in his pro career. Gotta wonder what really went on with Tua and Barry. I think they could have worked it out if Peewww hadn't been involved.

After listening to the Kevin Barry interview on Duco's Facebook page re: Fury's win, he raises some good points about the potential distribution of the titles. He thinks that Fury will vacate a number of titles and hold onto only 1 or 2 of the sanctioning belts. This obviously opens up doors for a number of rising HWs. What do you guys think the Parker camp are aiming for in terms of which belt they are looking to become the #1 mandatory contender?

Going by the work Duco are doing with the WBO getting JP furtehr up and Izu included at a recent conference, it's got to be WBO.

Also, WBO Oriental is the only belt being paid to defend against Martz

Yep - WBO makes the most sense now

But don't be surprised if that changes over the next year.

Looking at the WBO top 5, a fight with either Charles Martin or Glaskov would make the winner the mandatory right now.

Wow - you may be right.

No wonder Kevin Barry talked in that interview about setting this up for the first half of 2016.

That means if Fury drops the WBO belt, Parker could be fighting for that belt before the end of next year!

World Championship material.

Amazing

That's what I've been harping about--Martin or Glazkov. Neither deserve their rankings, they are not that good, and it's those two that Team Parker needs to target for a mandatory.

The process of Fury having to vacate belts has already begun-

"Fury vs. Glazkov To Head Straight To Purse Bids"

The dust has barely settled on Tyson Fury’s unanimous decision win over long-reigning world heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on Saturday night. However, the newly minted Champion has already discovered that boxing moves fast when you are a multi-title holder after the IBF revealed that Fury's mandatory defence against Yyacheslav Glazkov is heading to purse bids...

he purse bid notice shall advise registered promoters of the minimum bid required under this Rule. The purses for each boxer include all expenses for the boxers and their trainers. If no one bids on the title bout at the first scheduled purse bid, a second bid will be held. If no one bids at the second purse bid, the championship may be vacated.’

The IBF has agreed to their request so purse bids for the contest will be submitted by 11:45 am on Friday the 11th of December. The outcome will be announced at noon on the same day.

In other words, it appears they may try to force Fury to fight or vacate the IBF title. And Dec 11th is the deadline.
