I'm agreeing with Joyce on this one, Diehard. My strategy for JP would have some similarities to the Wilder fight.

Parker needs to be elusive - but he also needs to get Zhang's respect with sudden HARD shots from angles.

Disrupt Zhang, make him move, disrupt his rythm, use feints a lot, make him reset. Parker has become great at this stuff. Take away a lot of Zhang's primary tools and timing.

Tire the old man out and start really putting it on him after Rnd 6 or so. Go for a late TKO stoppage.

Can't disagree with anything you said, kiwi. Except, it was hard to engage with a moving, circling, running Wilder. With ZZ, he'll be much easier to find and do what you said.

Good find, bart. Very knowledgeable and great video segments. ZZ's boxing IQ is off the scales compared to Wilder. JP needs to take him into the later rounds and do some damage with his combos. The trick is getting out of the first half of the fight. Has ZZ ever been down?

AJ dropped him in the amateurs but that was years ago.
ZZ fights well in close for a big man so in and out is the key and on the outside of his lead foot as much as possible.
JP has a quick left hook which i see him employing.
Keep the fight at a pace which ZZ finds uncomfortable.
A win here and JP is top 3 and a def title contender
