on Duco FB page them seem to be claiming Kambosos v Haney as their big promotion

Yeah, saw that. Thought Lonergan had Kambosos. Maybe Mr Higgins and Lonergan made up? And to think I was deceived into thinking it was Parker.

Good find bart.  Who is this Moralee?  Parker's manager?  I looked him up, and came up with this:

I think a typo - he actually works for Joyce not JP

Adam Morallee of SJAM management, who handles Joyce, told Sky Sports in the UK: "It's a massive fight. We're still negotiating it - it's not finalised yet but good progress is being made.

I thought this negotiation would take time. Lot of issues to sort, only one of them being $$$. I think it'll happen.

I think it will happen
They both will want plenty of coin and rightly so- its a big fight poss one of the biggest non-title fights that can be made right now.
The winner will be in a great position
and depending on the fight excitement wise perhaps the loser doesn't lose too much

Joseph Parker v Joe Joyce fight talks making 'good progress'
Duncan Johnstone

Joseph Parker has reignited his heavyweight career with an impressive second win over Derek Chisora.
Negotiations for Joseph Parker to fight British heavyweight Joe Joyce are making “good progress”.

With Joyce sitting top of the WBO rankings and Parker one place behind him, the fight has the makings of a title eliminator with the winner in line to challenge for that belt against the victor of champion Oleksandr Usyk’s looming rematch with Anthony Joshua.

Adam Morallee of SJAM management, who handles Joyce, told Sky Sports in the UK: "It's a massive fight. We're still negotiating it - it's not finalised yet but good progress is being made.

"It's the biggest fight outside the top four guys fighting. It's the biggest fight on the heavyweight scene right now.

"We hope we can land it and we hope we can land in the UK for the UK fight fans to watch Joe Joyce continue his ascent to the top of the division."

That backs up Stuff enquiries with Parker’s New Zealand manager David Higgins, though it is understood Parker has other live options to consider as he plots how best to maximise his career off his last fight, a resounding points win over Dereck Chisora in Manchester last December.

Parker has stayed in Britain, consolidating his blossoming partnership with new trainer Andy Lee.

He has kept busy in the gym and has been involved in sparring and training with Tyson Fury as the WBC champion prepares for his title defence against Dillian Whyte on April 24 (NZT) at Wembley Stadium in London.

The 30-year-old Parker (30-2) wants a second run at a heavyweight title and a win over Joyce (13-0) would certainly enhance his claims.

The one thing that bugs me about this fight is the judges and ref

JP's team need to make sure of "neutral" officials in this one - even more than usual

Wasn't it Frank Warren that put together the Hughie Fury fight?

Something to keep an eye on
