Ben Davidson - I know JP has a relationship with him through Tyson and they all trained together in vegas.
Davidson is young but seems old beyond his years. Very analytical and deep, will work alot on JP mental side - ask him questions on what he is trying to achieve when doing A,B and C ....make him think. Use his skills to set up opponents rather than chase them aimlessly and miss with agricultural amateur shots.
Almost a Graham Henry type coach but way younger and with lovely hair.
I would be excited if this happened I reckon they could make a very good combination

I think impossible from a power point of view. its a 9 month to a year rebuild as an athlete for mine. unless there is a time frame on matchroom contract I'd stretch the 3rd fight out and sort out the exercise phys stuff. It can be fixed but years of slow weights have dulled his fast twitch. there is a secret to fast twitch and it is closely held by a few people in NZ. They are world leaders in this area. There is a reason why Val Adams, tom Walsh and jack gill are the best in the world There is is also 2 out junior world champs in throws that are 20 and 18 years old right now. For 5 million people to have this many world champs in a rotational force sport is from the science combined with the genetics. We have amazing talent for our size but we need to be smart with the training and set up.
