Joseph Parker

Hadn't noticed that. When did fightnews update their rankings? I agree though- they usually tend to be the closest "blend" of the various ratings to actual reality... Ruiz looks too high on their list though...

True Cranky that's why I mentioned their list, they've always proved closer to reality

Interesting. Do we make anything of his lack of response to the question about Leapai and Meehan?

He just said "I can discount one of those" - lol - I wasn't expecting an answer...
I guess that means one of Parkers next 2 fights is against Meehan or Leapai...

Surely it will be Meehan in the fight for life headline..

Does anyone have a link to this forum?
I first threw out the Haumono thing as a bit of a joke with a fear that I could be right. The issue is with this guy on the boxrec forum is who is he? Unless someone knows is real name and how he would know such info he is just another dummy like me throwing his or her opinion out there because coro st is a bit quiet at the moment.

"cheeko" is not even speculating or spouting opinions like we do - he's making statements. Maybe he just wanted to squash the rumours (we started)
I guess he's either a liar or not, but i'm going with innocent until proven guilty lol

I prefer speculating and making up theories based on hunches. In a way I'd love to know his next two opponents, but where's the fun in that?!

On that note I'm going to say his next two will be:
Eric Molina - Still ranked with the WBC which parker needs to be, and pretty much a guaranteed win, but if he could KO him inside 8 rounds he would make a big statement considering it took Wilder 9. Also, his stocks in terms of big money fights will have dropped significantly now that Wilder is through with him.

Kali Meehan - Duco need to cash in on this while people still care (and before he turns 50...). I think fight for life is perfect as the format or Rugby v League brings in a lot of casual fans, and they too have heard of Kali because he beat Shane Cameron. Might be an opportunity to have Willis fight on the undercard as well considering the NRL season will be over.

Now he's basically saying Meehan for October...

Parker only has a 4 pack, and needs a 6 pack, adding a layer of muscle in his lower abs.  Still, so much better than before.  Sham, it's 7 to 1 odds.  Send me a hundred dollars and I'll put it on Tupou for you.  Something about putting your money where your mouth is.  Good odds.  I promise I won't tell anybody.  And if you win, you can buy that section next door.
