Hardly Ali's prime though Die Ali was well on the slide here but showed his great resilience and powers of recovery and was still able to throw some beauty combos when hurt and tired.
Shavers seemed like a limited boxer but obviously a vicious puncher and by all accounts a well liked bloke a gentleman of the sport

Good point bart. Guess his prime was in 1967 before he took a 3 year haitus. Guess I was thinking prime as being before the Spinks fights. But yeah, you're right. He was getting hit way too often by Shavers in a way he never woulda got hit before. But man, could he take a punch.
