Have to say though, Sunday mornings result was worst possible for Parker in the eyes of the casual fans.
He's no longer the only man to take AJ the distance and is no longer the only man to be Ruiz Jr and by the way Ruiz Jr is now only known as the guy that fluked that win over AJ one time so it's not a huge scalp for Parker.
I also noticed over the last couple of weeks that all the internationals refer to Parker's win over Ruiz Jr as a home town decesion that was very controversial.
Parker was meant to fight Molina but instead fought Leapai. Does anyone think Parker would have blasted Molina out as quickly as Hrgovic did?
Would Hrgovic have taken 10 rounds to get rid of Leapai? I know this is all hypothetical but perception is reality to casual fans and casual fans are what makes the money for fighters like JP or any heavyweight fighter for that matter.
JP now ranked 13th on boxrec and Hrgovic and a number of other prospects are behind him. Has the slide down began?
He can rebuild but it needs to be a massive 2020

He needs some big breaks to go his way. And to be honest, he needs to go to WAR from Rnd one - and get fans excited again.
Parker has lost traction and needs some big KOs.

Not fighting Chisora really hurt, especially his relationship with Hearn. Now he'll have to stand in line to see what Eddie has to offer. Also screwed up his training. After all that training he's done, he now has to take his family and go back to NZ, only to go back to Vegas and await a fight. He also has to get in shape again after the holidays, no easy feat in the past.

Man I love our Kiwi boy as much as the next man and it's amazing to have a Kiwi heavyweight contender but this crazy conning of the New Zealand public needs to stop! Parker is so far away from fighting Aj it's not even funny so why write this crap??? No name on the story but it looks like another Johnstone special to me.

AJ wanting to keep all his belts means a few things..
Chisora v Usyk may be in doubt Chisora was very keen if was for WBO belt now that looks unlikely
So Usyk will fight a tall opponent while waiting for his shot at AJ which may happen after Pulev
I think this means JP v Chisora is back on the table as in UK it = $$
Tough fight but if JP wins then his 3rd fight under EH is an eliminator, win that and EH may want extension
Lose any of those and restart under anew promoter

The WBO have sent AJ a letter insisting he faces Usyk next, although he is also mandated for an immediate fight with IBF mandatory Pulev. Pulev is the easier fight and Hearn will want to keep the belts in house so I think AJ will vacate WBO and fight Pulev, leaving Usyk to fight Parker for the vacant WBO with an in house unification at the end of 2020.

If Team Parker have half a brain - they will already be all over this - lobbying for the Usyk WBO fight.
Best chance Parker has of getting a belt again
And the WBO have a long relationship with Duco, etc. Parker's team needs to be all over it.

I think they already have been. Higgins was at a WBO conference lobbying for JP only very recently
