BUT you may well be right about fury dropping Wlad, Wlad just looked way too small and not enough enthusiasm in the 1st innings.

I'm English, have just come back from England and consider myself more than a casual boxing fan. I think Fury has looked incredibly dicey on more than one occasion going up through all levels. Joshua is a proven amateur and looks the goods. Would Joshua beat Fury now probably not, but he'd give him kittens! He'd certainly throw more punches than an over the hill Klitskho. I really dont get this 'the british public are behind Joshua and not Fury'. Fury has rubbed alot of people up the wrong way but its widely known hes the man who beat the man. And cosmic drop how do you see through yellow teeth? That makes no sense. If it was simply to make some Simpsons type statement I really don't get it. Kiwis have shocking teeth.

haha...speaking of teeth I knew someone out there would bite...Yeah we got to give Fury some credit though, his victory over Wlad has opened up the HW division hence making it exciting again, they are starting to bring back the casual fans that will make up most the Pay per view numbers...gonna be an exciting next 2 years.

Yes Bart the Travellers arn't loved in Ireland either as you said. When last there I began coaching at a weights n fitness gym in Killarney only to be asked to quit because the Traveller community became interested and the management was fearful of losing their regulars.

Joseph Parker says he and British boxing star Anthony Joshua are taking 'risky' fights
Joseph Parker is stepping up his training as he waits to see when and where he will fight Carlos Takam.
Joseph Parker says he and British star Anthony Joshua have both taken "risky fights" as they look to enhance their prospects in the rejuvenated heavyweight division.
Joshua takes on IBF world champion Charles Martin in a title fight in London early next month.
Parker fights rugged Frenchman Carlos Takam to be the IBF's mandatory challenger, earning the right to take on the winner of Joshua v Martin.
Parker's handlers are currently negotiating with Takam's management over the timing and venue of the eliminator bout.

Parker and Joshua appear destined to meet and Parker's increasing exposure now includes regular media coverage in Britain.
Parker took time out from his Las Vegas training camp to discuss with Britain's Sky Sports the prospects of the two fights that will shape the IBF's heavyweight ranks.
He made it clear that both he and Joshua are two bright prospects in a hurry as the division opens up following the recent demise of long-term champion Wladimir Klitschko.
Naturally Parker has keen interest in the London bout between Joshua and Martin, considering the Kiwi could be fighting the winner.
"I will be watching very closely and I'll be seeing how both fighters go," Parker told Sky Sports.
"I'm excited to see this fight. It's a big step for Joshua to step up and take on Martin, but I think Joshua has got what it takes to become a champion and Martin will come prepared as well - he doesn't want to lose his title.
"It's 50-50, but it depends on who wants it more. Whoever trains the hardest will win the fight.
"We're both taking a risky fight early in our careers. Most fighters take little steps at a time and I think at this stage me and Joshua have taken a big step for both our next fights.
"It's a step we need to take, because there is a lot of interest in what we're doing in our careers in the heavyweight division."
And Parker made it clear he has Joshua on his mind in the long-term.
"We both want to become champions of the world, so I think we will definitely meet in the future," Parker told Sky Sports.
"We've both got power, we're both heavyweights and in the heavyweight division there is always knockouts. I think we both have the ability to knock each other out, it just depends who lands that big punch first.
"We've both to keep doing our thing, keep on winning, and hopefully when it comes together there will be a lot of interest."
Parker's manager Kevin Barry said they would consider taking a fight in Britain later this year to cash in on Parker's growing popularity there amidst an exciting UK boxing scene.
Barry also suggested any future fight between Parker and Joshua would be worthy of a Las Vegas setting given the profiles of the two rising stars.

The Duco Freight Train is amping up for Heavyweight glory and will need to look long and hard in the mirror when their dreams are derailed.
Will they acknowledge;
that a diet of easy kills never served Joseph.
that patsy after patsy only saw Joseph repeat mistake after mistake.
that if they put Joseph's interests first and funded real opponents (even at a loss) that he would have been better prepared.
that Joseph is lacking the skillset required to dominate the top table of the Heavyweight game.
that something needs to change.
Or, will they write it off to a bit of bad luck, a lucky punch??
Joseph Parker should not be in the position where the risks of losing a fight are so real.
By now he should be equipped with the skills, strategy and belief required to beat all before him.
To this keen eye - he is not.
In horse racing parlance Joseph has been boxing in rating 75 company and is now moving up to Open Handicap conditions - Melbourne Cup territory.
This mammoth step in class is a huge concern because Joseph hasn't had the quality fights required to prepare him for this level.
Duco are exposing Joseph to unnecessary risks lured by the prospect of Title riches.
Who is feeding Duco the critical analysis they so desperately need regarding Joseph's progress? Ray Charles?
Several months ago I was watching Code on Maori TV where KB, JP and David Nyika were guests. Man! I tell you, JP and DN are two fine young men and both
5 star ambassadors for NZ Boxing. Anyway, when asked what his training entailed JP touched on how he had started holding a small ball under his chin in training..
mmm.. an attempt to condition him to hold his head lower for obvious reasons.. My point is - it took three years to try the oldest trick in the book to try and fix
this problem. Joseph's high headed nature should have been resolved by now - and it still isn't!
Joseph is easily hit. He has not been taught to slip nor roll with punches. He has never stood composed in front of poor oposition and confidently deflected
punches with his shoulders whilst protecting his chin. I have huge concerns about Joseph's ability to whether pressure. He is awkward, very unconfortable
in the brief moments I've seen him under attack. I have never seen him cover up and just wear a flurry of punches on his shoulders and arms.
I have watched footage of Parker in the gym, on the bags, pads and shadow boxing.. and there is no evidence that the aforementioned issues are being addressed.
Joseph's one dimentional game will be exposed by a good boxer and Takam is very likely to be the man. Takam's not brilliant but is skilled enough
to derail the dream and bring some reality to the situation.
Skills skills skills are what's required to wear the crown. Joseph has everything else but, he needs to shake his horrifyingly novice like habits, to
learn COMPOSURE and how to shape up under pressure.
There is an unhealthy bullshit factor that seems to have crept into the team. Prior to the last fight it was revealed to the public that
Parker - after 18 months - had mastered the 'Liver Punch'. His 'secret weapon' it was.. What a load of crap! To boot, Lonergan spouting
that Anthony Joshua is runnng scared.. zip-it bud you're out of your league! No self respecting team carries on like this... this bravado certainly doesn't
sync with Parker's humble nature. A successful team is in sync on all levels.
Again. I WANT Parker to rule the Heavyweight division and I can see that it is within his reach but, not before some harsh realities are brought to bear.

Nobody would deny that they would like Joseph to work on the head movement, but is Joseph easily hit?
Prior to one punch Bergman hit him with (which made JP smile), there was no clean power shots landed on JP's head since well, I can't remember, maybe the Sherman Williams fight (over 2 years ago) where he was clipped with a few counters that didn't trouble him.
Yes the fight with Takam is a big step up, but if he was to take a slightly smaller step up and fight a Christian Hammer type fighter and blow him away, would he have just wasted time and not learnt anything? The thing is, if he deals with Takam, and does it convincingly, what is the issue?
Joseph is beatable, but at this point in time, it'll be a skilled rangey fighter that'll be able to starve him. To make the point, that he needs "to learn composure under pressure", how else but to step up can he learn this? and whats not to say he hasn't been really physically pushed in the gym with experienced sparring partners away from the public and youtube eyes?
I can only applaud where Parker is currently at, and remember everything that Duco, Barry and Parker have said, has come to fruition.
They wanted in 2015:
Top 15 rankings across all alphabets- Done
Top 5 ranking with one- Done
Busy schedule in 2015 with 6 fights- Done
They wanted in 2016:
To become a mandatory in one alphabet: Lining up currently
To have a shot at a title by the end of the year: Possibly if he gets past Takam.
The fact is, if he loses, he is only 24 and being that he is a hungry goal driven fighter with an exciting explosive boxing style, he will get more chances. Tua only got one shot, why not have a crack at a title shot when an opportunity presents himself, as it could be years away otherwise.
If you were in his shoes, after years of learning, countless hours training, would you take the chance?
