Promoter: Angelo DiCarlo RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - diehard - 06-12-2017 From Chris Martin, Nik's trainer, on Facebook: Close fight, could have gone either way...good experience for Nik..Aaron is a tough guy..good fight RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - Justapakeha - 06-12-2017 (06-12-2017, 05:11 PM)diehard Wrote: From Chris Martin, Nik's trainer, on Facebook:Unfortunately, it kinda shows the difference between Aussie and NZ boxers. A 12-0 nz boxer gets beaten by a 9-3 Aussie one. Seems to be the trend this yr - unbeaten nz prospects exposed. Saying that, respect to anyone stepping inside the ring... RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - justafan - 06-14-2017 Fight Fans unfortunately today we have to announce that the scheduled July 15th NZPBA Cruiserweight Title bout between Asher Derbyshire and Zane Hopman has been cancelled. This is disappointing for both Asher, Zane and ourselves as the promoters however an Injury has put a stop to the event coming together and that is the nature of our sport. We will be working tirelessly to have this bout back in Masterton in the near future. However for the time being the health of the fighters must come first. We thank everyone for there support of this event we will be back!! All ticket purchasers will be refunded.
