RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - diehard - 06-06-2017

Just heard from Chris. He said that they are fighting for a title on Saturday. Go Nik!!!

Aaron Russell, Nik's opponent Saturday.  It's for the Cruiserweight Australian title.  Not sure how Nik qualifies for it, being a NZ'er, but there you go:

niks a skillfull kid who trains hard. he has trained hard. I manage him . obviously fonds to hard with weight and is a pretty complex beast is our nik, got a big fight for nik in sep once he gets through this.

Markk, are you going over to OZ with Chris and Nik for Saturday's fight? He has such a low KO ratio for such a powerful fighter. Hope he brings back the power Saturday with a KO. His opponent is very beatable.

niks a light heavy fighting in cruiser at moment. not sure if we will get back down to light heavy but his power is suited at lower weight class.

Todd his long tome cornerman has gone over. we hear the opposition is 7kg over yesterday and having to drop allot. will be interesting to see what weight he comes in at.  we got a big fight for him after this when this is over.

Thanks for getting back to us, markk. Yeah, I see Nik as a light heavyweight too. Haven't seen him in awhile, but his body hasn't filled out enough to be a cruiser. Good to hear about Aaron being 7kg over. Good news is that he has a lot of weight to lose. Bad news is that Nik won't fight for the Australian title unless he forfeits it. BTW, how is Nik fighting for that title, being a Kiwi?

Can you whisper to us who he's fighting in September? Ok, maybe not whisper, but will it be in NZ?

Thanx for staying in touch. You've got two fighters we're watching now.

According to boxrec Nik Charalampous lost by UD

Saw that. Markk, does this affect the fight in September?

RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - NakiFan - 06-11-2017

Not quite boxing, even though that's all Mark Hunt does really in the Octagon....but he had a nice win tonight.

RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - diehard - 06-11-2017

Oops, forgot to post that Mark Hunt was on Sky.  Anyway, I agree, not quite boxing, not quite martial arts, but interesting anyway.  Hunt and Hooker won.  Go the Kiwi's!
