RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - markk - 03-19-2017 (03-19-2017, 02:28 AM)Justapakeha Wrote: Just watched the Fa - Tai fight and he didn't look great. He actually looked as if he was terrified to lose, so he was kind of too apprehensive to let any meaningful combinations fly. Just a left then right cross here and there among the single jabs. I could only count a handful of body shots. Tai did well to be allusive and duck and weave and get inside him; even connecting with a heavy shot or two. I think Fa needs to be more aggressive if he wants to go anywhere. Going by today's performance - a Takam or Chisora level guy would knock him out in the middle rounds, quite convincingly. Yeah we fought a conservative fight as junior hasnt really trained since USA due to an injury. The fight was touch and go wheather would happen because of this. We just took a safe path which is not always what the fans want so fully understand. I thought junior dominated him most of fi. Paght and took no risks . Danial's plan to charge in and be agressive was what we bought would happen. I guess in summary last night was only about winning and winning safe RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - NakiFan - 03-19-2017 (03-19-2017, 04:36 PM)markk Wrote:(03-19-2017, 02:28 AM)Justapakeha Wrote: Just watched the Fa - Tai fight and he didn't look great. Thanks as always for posting on here Mark. RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - diehard - 03-19-2017 Can't fought Fa for taking the fight. Is he fighting Hunter Sam next? No marks on junior. Check him page for his after fight chat . Will give some Perspective on fight as well RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - justafan - 03-21-2017 Full Fight: Junior Fa V Daniel Tai Mobi Video 18/03/2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXhCM3B0xJk RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - justafan - 03-21-2017 Junior Fa wins NZ heavyweight title https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeLOFs-I68M RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - justafan - 03-27-2017 One cracking fight at welter and a mismatch on the Parker undercard so far. Good to see Taylor in a fight like this. Looks like and easy win for Mose Auimatagi Jnr http://boxrec.com/show/746275 RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - diehard - 03-27-2017 Good to see that they are starting to fill the under card early. Yeah, give Mose a little more competition. Surely there's some good middleweights out there. Bring back Heremaia! RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - justafan - 03-27-2017 Hatherley is full of guts and as tough as they come. Gives his all and is good to watch so no problem with him being on the card but with all due respect he does not have the skills to be in with Auimatagi Jnr. Maybe I'll be wrong but right now I think it's a dumb fight. |
