RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - craigyid14 - 04-04-2016 Rapira and Nik the Greek have to fight each other its the most natural fight out there. RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - justafan - 04-05-2016 Thanks Die, Found this video from before the fight, He was talking a fight in Oz and Monty rematch but of course this could change with a loss under his belt. Does anyone know if Isi Fa is improved at all in recent times? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sJ6WkBAFjA&feature=youtu.be RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - diehard - 04-05-2016 Yeah, Monty was due to come rematch James in June/July in Opunake. Does he not have a mandatory stand down period of 30 days? Seems crazy to risk a more winnable title fight to move up a weight and fight a puncher. I saw Heads debut at the ABA against Lance Bryant, he was probably winning the fight before getting stopped. It was a cracker. I'm sure it's 30 days and quite likely if he loses it will be a KO and would then have to withdraw from the NZ title. Just doesn't make sense to me but perhaps there's more to it? RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - Justapakeha - 04-16-2016 $$$- I gather Lisa Lewis had put up a fair bit to get all these boxers to come down under RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - justafan - 04-16-2016 I saw this the other day and forgot to post it but my first thought was why doesn't he want to find Asher Derbyshire???? there has to be more to it than a warm up fight and money would be the likely option wouldn't it? RE: Professional Boxing in NZ - craigyid14 - 04-17-2016 It seems he went down on points, so the Derbyshire is on I guess. |
