Cairo George defended his NZNBF welterweight title and won some meaningless IBO regional title in Thames tonight his fight against Nort Beauchamp was stopped in the 10th round after an accidental clash of heads cut George, he was well ahead on the judges score cards and won by Technical decision. It was Beauchamp's first defeat (now 6-1). George moves to 11-0(5).

Hey peeps, just wanted to let you guys know I've got a bout lined up this month on the 24th against light heavyweight Qu Peng over 8 rounds in Beijing. He recently fought Andrew Robinson in Macau.
Its on a Toprank card so should be a pretty big event over there, I'm training my butt off and it will be my first trip into the ring in quite some time, wish me luck ?.
