Higgins really does sound like he's cashing out

Yup.

So much talk about money and joe having a family to feed and stuff. Its obvious.

Well i do hope joe gets a big pay and wish im luck in the fight. Never had anything agsinst him just his team so i hope barry and higgins dont fleece him

Parker will do much better against an AJ or Browne, who doesn't move as well as some of the other fighters. Parker will have a chance to use his speed, and hopefully his power along with his chin, as they will exchange. AJ has seemed invincible until now. Personally, I find AJ/Wilder more interesting, but I hope Parker corrects his flaws and brings it.

Mr Higgins is not stupid. Starting at 40% and settling on 30-33% is about right.

More interested to see parker use movement i think thats his only real hope. If he tries to stand center ring and trade i just think thats aj's game. Parker needs to be on his toes doing little more than flicking a jab for 6, 7, 8 rounds then start let the hands go a bit more

Good strategy, Inferno

Agreed

Id be concerned about a British stoppage, but then again, if Parker unloads with a combo, he might just get AJ out that way also???

Well, of course there should be movement. Standing there and trading with AJ is suicide. Angles makes sense. Anything where he can use his speed and get in there first, or else counter effectively.

Parkers has never had good movement, I can't see him suddenly learning to dance like Hughie

Yup.

What I would say is if Joshua comes in weighing 260lbs or something ridiculous then I think parker has a good chance because joshuas stamina is getting worse the bigger he gets.

I think though they will have learned from the wlad and takam fights and will take parker seriously so i see a return to the weight from the charles martin, brezeale fights

That version of AJ isn't stiff and plodding and seemed to have decent stamina against brezeale who did try to take it late and make AJ gas and it just wasn't happening.

If think if that joshua shows up parker is in for a terrible night.

Parker has movement, especially in his earlier fights. He just doesn't know which way to move (Takam, Ruiz).
