Nah Hes lord parker under the tutelage of SIR Robert Jones RE: Parker vs Hughie Fury - NakiFan - 05-09-2017 (05-09-2017, 06:33 PM)Infern0 Wrote:(05-09-2017, 06:16 PM)Kiwi Wrote: Parker without Duco is a busboy and part-time boxer out of Manurewa. Who would still be fighting Australaisian boxers in his 23rd pro fight. This was the same Sir Bob that condemned the Botha fight because Joe wasn't ready, he wanted Joe to fight for another year or so before stepping up to the likes of Frans. RE: Parker vs Hughie Fury - diehard - 05-09-2017 I applaud Duco for hiring KB, paying Joe's salary so he could train in Vegas, and getting him quality fights in NZ leading up to a belt. But now that ship has sailed, and Joe needs to find a better trainer than KB and a promoter who's not getting a divorce. Won't happen though. He'll stick with KB and go with Mr Higgins to the UK to fight Hughie and Bellew. RE: Parker vs Hughie Fury - mippy - 05-09-2017 Last top 20 fight before Joe would have been Tua vs Ustinov. RE: Parker vs Hughie Fury - Kiwi - 05-09-2017 That's who Cojanu reminds me of a little. Ustinov - a big durable lump - but without his skills RE: Parker vs Hughie Fury - Infern0 - 05-10-2017 he wasn't that durable when donovan dennis laid him flat with a right hand, but Parker made him look "McCall-esque" RE: Parker vs Hughie Fury - Kiwi - 05-10-2017 Donovan is a Southpaw and caught him for that reason. RE: Parker vs Hughie Fury - mippy - 05-10-2017 Fury camp hyping the fight up again, love this. I want to see Joe get fired up for this bout http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/other-sports/92407133/hughie-fury-camp--joseph-parker-ordinary-limited-not-fulfilling-early-promise Quote:Hughie Fury's promoter Frank Warren has kept up his offensive on Joseph Parker's camp, saying the WBO heavyweight champion "isn't living up to his early promise" and his "limitations have been exposed". The only time Raz threw was when Joe stayed close to him after throwing, like in the last round. Instead, he mostly covered up and taunted. Still, as champ, it's Joe's job to break him down and open him up, like he did with Dimitrenko. When he couldn't, he settled for a UD by outboxing him. That's his Plan B, and it worked, but it wasn't impressive. |
