Perfect fight for AJ. A punching bad in Whyte. He'll KO Whyte, creating the AJ/Wilder hype. Then Wilder KO's him. If he can't take Usyk's punches, and was almost KO'd, think what Wilder will do to him.

Wilder/Ruiz? Good fight. I understand Ruiz wants half. Give it to him and KO him.

Usyk/DDD? Good fight. Usyk will pick him apart.

RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 07-08-2023

Usyk DD will probably go similar to the AJ fight but likely a late stoppage or DD corner steps in.
If motivated Ruiz could give DW some problems style-wise but ultimately I see a KO coming his way.
Then if AJ wins as you think Die the build up for saudi looking good.
Now if only Fury would fight a proper ranked HW....

Makes Fury look bad if all the heavies are fighting except him. But does he care? The alphabets might!

RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 07-12-2023

yeah time wasting by fury
Now if Franncis sparks him......lol

RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 07-12-2023

What happened to mandatory defenses? And Chisora shouldn't count.

RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 07-12-2023

Whyte was mandatory so apparently fury is covered in that regard.

WBC OK with Fury fighting Ngannou

According to the World Boxing Council, WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed that Tyson Fury received special permission to face MMA fighter Francis Ngannou on October 28, as there is no official challenger. Sulaiman mentioned that the Fury camp tried to close fights against Andy Ruiz, Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk, but no agreement was reached. So Fury won’t be stripped of the title, but it’s not clear whether the bout will be sanctioned as an official WBC world title fight.

Anderson-Rudenko lands in Oklahoma

Unbeaten heavyweight contender Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson (15-0, 14 KOs) will take on Andriy Rudenko (35-6, 21 KOs) in the 10-round main event on August 26 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 23-year-old slugger will make his third 2023 appearance less than two months after defeating former world champion Charles Martin in front of 7,234 hometown fans in Toledo. ESPN will televise.

Bob Arum: “This is another great test for Jared. When you watch him fight, you are seeing a future heavyweight champion of the world. Rudenko is a crafty veteran who has been in there with some top guys. The fans at Hard Rock Tulsa are in for a real treat.”

Jared Anderson: “I want to stay active and make my case that I am the present and future of the heavyweight division. Rudenko is a tough, durable veteran. I respect what he’s accomplished in the game, but on August 26 at Hard Rock Tulsa, he’s going to regret accepting this challenge.”

Andriy Rudenko: “This is a tremendous opportunity, and I am coming to Tulsa to score the big upset. I dedicate this fight to the people of Ukraine, and I can’t wait to show everyone that I still have what it takes to perform at the highest level.”
