RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 02-20-2022 Makhmudov KOs Wach in six Unbeaten heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov (14-0, 14 KOs) scored a sixth round KO against 42-year-old former world title challenger Mariusz Wach (36-7, 19 KOs) on Saturday night at the Cabaret du Casino in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Wach presented some problems to Makhmudov, but Makhmudov finally battered him to the canvas in round six to end it. Time was :39. No spectators were allowed to attend. Heavyweight Simon “Le Grizzly” Kean (21-1, 20 KOs) had all he could handle with 41-year-old Shawndell ‘Del Boy” Terell Winters (13-7, 12 KOs). Winters and Kean exchanged knockdowns in round six. Kean was rocked several times, but finally dropped Winters twice in round nine to end it. Time was 1:25. The proceedings will be directed by the chairman of the Championships Committee Carlos Chavez at 10AM US Eastern time through the Zoom platform. Bryan must defend the title against Dubois after having received special permission to face Jonathan Guidry last January. Dubois is the mandatory challenger because he held the division’s interim title when the WBA’s world title reduction plan kicked off. RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 03-06-2022 WBA Usyk(s) Bryan(w) 1. Daniel Dubois 2. Michael Hunter 3. Robert Helenius 4. Hughie Fury 5. Anthony Joshua 6. Deontay Wilder 7. Agit Kabayel 8. Tony Yoka RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 03-09-2022 Andy Ruiz Jr back in training but has left Reynoso gym... He chops and changes alot RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 03-09-2022 Ruiz' head not right. Body not right. A waste of a talent. Reynoso coulda really helped him. No word yet on JP/JJ. Maybe JP/Ruiz is still a possibility? RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 03-09-2022 I think JP v Ruiz is good fight maybe easier to make than JJ ? Had to say both guys have fought what can only be described as aging gate keepers ( Chisora & Arreola) so depending on ambition really. RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 03-09-2022 Parker says he wants the best fighters out there, so we'll see if he's as good as his word. I think he is, as he's targeting JJ and Ruiz. Let's see if some of the others, including AJ, Wilder, Ruiz, and JJ, do the same. RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 03-11-2022 Please, Dubois, beat the hell out of this man. Believe me, he wouldn't fight you if he didn't have to. https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/trevor-bryan-daniel-dubois-purse-bid-to-take-place-this-coming-monday-does-warren-win-again/214992 RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 03-11-2022 Haha trevor bryan is a Don King fighter I believe Its what got him a pretend title and why his career has stagnated |
