Not Klit, not yet! Parker yes, but not Klit!! But speaking of the Brits: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2570029-imagining-if-david-haye-came-out-of-retirement-to-fight-anthony-joshua?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=boxing RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 09-22-2015 Hard to believe at 25 that AJ hasn't made his move yet and fought better competition. BUT, looks like he's making his move now. That video Jamieson posted looked like backyard stuff compared to how AJ is doing now. He's been coached/trained well. RE: Heavyweight Division - shamrock - 09-22-2015 (09-21-2015, 06:10 PM)diehard Wrote: Sham, I know Chartwell is residential. I have a friend who lives there. Gotcha! Yep, I am sharp looking. Going to the WOW show in Wellington Wednesday. Wearing my orange micro-fiber suit with black hat. Wouldn't call me tough though, Sham. More like using my big mouth to get out of bad situations. Did have a very fast jab (some say a straight left) if someone is stupid enough to walk into it. Other than that, I let Mrs D, my black belt wife, do all my fighting and posturing for me. Look forward to it Die, just PM me nearer the hour and I'll send you my mobile nbr. Err, (trembling)....will I have to fight your wife....black belt? whats that??? RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 09-27-2015 Chisora wins snoozer against Nascimento Former heavyweight title challenger Dereck Chisora (22-5, 14 KOs) scored a one-sided ten round decision but failed to impress against journeyman Marcleo Nascimento (18-11, 16 KOs) on Saturday night at Wembley Arena in London, England. Chisora initiated what little action there was as Nascimento (now a loser of 9 of his last 11) went into survival mode early on. The ref scored it 99-91. Adamek stops Saleta in five In a fight to see if he still has it, former heavyweight title challenger Tomasz Adamek (50-4, 30 KOs) got his fiftieth win when 47-year-old former Euro champ Przemyslaw Saleta (44-8, 22 KOs) quit on his stool after round five on Saturday night at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland. Adamek, a former world champion at light heavyweight and cruiserweight, moved well in the ring and outboxed the stalking Saleta. On the undercard, heavyweight Nagy Aguilera (20-9, 14 KOs) scored an upset tenth round TKO over Marcin Rekowski (16-2, 13 KOs). RE: Heavyweight Division - Jamieson - 09-27-2015 WTF were the judges watching in the Breazeale vs Kassi fight? A draw or a close lose sure, but those cards? Ridiculous! RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 09-27-2015 Believe Wilder is next. They have the entire card on SKY Pop at 6PM tonite. RE: Heavyweight Division - Jamieson - 09-27-2015 http://cricfree.sx/watch/live/deontay-wilder-vs-johann-duhaupas-live-streaming If you want to watch live RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 09-27-2015 Boxing News Wilder pummels Duhaupas to retain WBC heavyweight title via TKO11 WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) successfully defended his world title with an eleventh round TKO over rugged Johann Duhaupas (32-3, 20 KOs) on Saturday night at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. Duhaupas pressed the action in round one, but Wilder landed the better shots. Duhaupas was also cut on the bridge of the nose. Wilder also did more in rounds two and three. Duhaupas was cut over left eye in round four, while Wilder’s left eye was noticeably swelling. Duhaupas did some damage in round five, but Wilder closed with a big rally. Wilder landed some big shots in round six. Wilder dished out more punishment as the rounds progressed. Referee Jack Reiss finally stopped the abuse in round eleven. Time was :55. RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 09-27-2015 Unbeaten WBO #2 rated heavyweight Charles Martin (22-0-1, 20 KOs) destroyed Vicente “Bufalo” Sandez (15-5, 10 KOs) in three one-sided rounds. Southpaw Martin dropped Sendez in round two and floored him again in round three to end it. Time was :35. IBF #14 heavyweight Ruiz dominates Godfrey Unbeaten and world rated heavyweight Andy Ruiz Jr (25-0, 17 KOs) scored a one-sided eight round unanimous decision over late sub Joell Godfrey (17-15-1, 6 KOs) on Saturday night at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California. In his first start of 2015, Ruiz jumped on Godfrey from the opening bell and punished Godfrey on the ropes for most of round one. That set the tone for the fight as Ruiz continued to deal the pain and Godfrey continued to receive it. Scores were 80-72 across the board. |
