Interesting:

Anthony Joshua-Dillian Whyte penciled in for Dec 12

By James Slater

An interesting and significant heavyweight clash between unbeaten British stars in the making, Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, will go ahead on December 12th at The O2 in London – providing both men win their upcoming bouts on the same September 12th card which will also take place at The O2. 2012 Olympic gold winner Joshua, 13-0(13) will face unbeaten Gary Cornish for the vacant Commonwealth title, while Whyte, 15-0(12) will face a TBA on next month’s card.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has Tweeted how Joshua and White – two rivals who have a history as amateurs, with Whyte scoring two knockdowns over Joshua before winning their 2009 fight on points – will meet again in December if they both come through (and unbeaten Cornish, with a 21-0 record and having asked specifically to land a fight with “A.J,” may prove to be a fighter who should not be overlooked) next month:

“For those asking re dates..if they both win on Sept 12…it’s @anthonyfjoshua v @DillianWhyte for the British and Commonwealth Dec 12 O2 Arena,” Hearn wrote today.

Whyte is convinced he will beat Joshua again, proving his amateur win was far from meaningless, while Joshua wants to avenge his loss. Fans who want to see both men tested might get their wish if this fight indeed goes ahead without any issues. Whyte suffered a ban from October of 2012 to October of 2014 for taking stimulant methlhexaneamine – with Whyte appealing, insisting he did not take the stimulant knowingly – but he has won six fights in a row since.

Whyte is a dangerous and skilled fighter and providing Joshua gets past Cornish, we could see a great fight just before the Christmas holidays begin.

A good fight for AJ. He's ranked in the top 5 in two alphabets, though, and he's fighting Whyte? Guess AJ is looking to chase away his amateur nemesis.

Teper vs Chisora ordered.

Wouldn't be surprised if the winner fights AJ

I see these as the types of fights Parker will get once he gets to the US. Or Europe. Right now, he's gotta get past Meehan and whoever he fights in January in Samoa if it happens.

Good fight for both Chisora and Teper. Does Chisora have anything left? Is Teper that good?

Good on Julius for taking it with 5 days notice. Ideal preparation for 5"11 southpaw Chagaev Smile

Browne really doesn't want to risk anything before his big fight. To be fair, I guess this is the replacement for the replacement fighter
