There is plenty in the kitty for Duco, always was... they were just wanting a bit more and Snedden was exposing what a ridiculous outfit the Auckland Council are. Why they put a stop to the ATEED funding is a joke. And you can bet your bottom dollar Snedden was well aware of the bureaucracy that goes on within the AKL Council.
However, in those famous words of David Tua... "it is what it is" ... Great to see we get a World Title fight in our back yard.
BTW... PPV through Sky TV will be minimum $60.

Hope the undercard is up to the mark of a world title fight.
Auckland Council shouldn't be vilified, they got preferences and they know their finances. Phil Goff has a Labour mindset though I guess hahaha

Would love a big undercard. Question for anyone who may know: why is this fight $4.4 million vs $2.4 million for Takam? Sure they pay Ruiz more, but not that much more. Maybe a couple of hundred thousand more tops. Where do the other expenses come from? Vector is higher than the South Auckland arena, but it holds more and consequently more $$$ to be gained.

I reckon both Ruiz and Parker are getting paid 1 million USD.
That comes out to 2.7 million NZD. That leaves 1.7 million for everything else.
