Probably could do with moving to US to train for a bit away from distractions and focus ? on becoming a contender.
I don't know his situation so this may or may not suit him but think doing that helps a lot of athletes advance their careers going somewhere they are the big local hero

No conviction in but could still have issues getting into the US
